DISCIPLESHIP
TRIAD
The Discipleship Triad serves as a fundamental framework for spiritual growth at Church Leadership College, embodying the model of discipleship evident in the Bible and practiced throughout the early church.
Think.
This first stage of the Discipleship Triad emphasizing the importance of understanding God’s Word, His nature, our identity in Him, and the nature of our relationship with Him. Students learn a worldview that is profoundly biblical, shaping a perspective that filters life experience. Learning is more than knowledge; it’s about aligning our thinking with God’s, fostering an authentic and intimate relationship with Him.
See.
In the second stage students build on the first by learning how to discern God’s direction for their life through the voice of the Holy Spirit. As students deepen their understanding of Scripture and nurture their relationship with God, they become more attuned to the Holy Spirit’s guidance. Seeing God’s plan is about listening to the Holy Spirit. It’s about gaining a clear vision of your place in God’s grand design.
Build.
The final stage of the triad emphasizes the practical side of ministry. As students enact their faith, they acquire vital ministry skills, discovering the joy and fulfillment that comes from serving others within the churches they lead. Competence matters and excellence is vital in building God’s way. Each student must learn how to develop effective systems of discipleship and ministry that enhance the church’s health, growth, and impact.
By embracing the Discipleship Triad—Think, See, and Build— students at Church Leadership College will experience holistic spiritual growth, preparing them for a lifetime of effective ministry.
